Tax Accountant

About the role

Key responsibilities

• Liaise with clients and their advisers, managing relationships.
• Handle high‑level personal, corporate, trust and partnership tax and GST matters.
• Prepare complex tax returns, election forms and other compliance documents.
• Conduct technical research, develop planning strategies and provide recommendations.
• Draft detailed correspondence with tax authorities and manage those relationships.
• Assist the Audit and Assurance department with complex tax compliance issues.
• Identify marketing opportunities within internal and external networks.

Required profile

• Canadian Chartered Accountant (CA) designation.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, financial and project‑management abilities.
• Self‑motivated with a solid work ethic and ability to work independently.
