Talent and Business Operations Manager – Store

About the role

Sephora Canada is seeking a Talent and Business Operations Manager to lead people and operational functions for its Dufferin Mall store. The role blends HR leadership with day‑to‑day store management, ensuring the location runs smoothly while delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee staffing, zoning, scheduling and payroll for the store.
• Conduct final interviews for key positions and use the applicant tracking system to source, select and hire talent.
• Partner with the Store Director and Education team to design and execute ongoing training and development programs.
• Prepare and deliver annual performance reviews and manage performance‑management processes for the entire store team.
• Lead operational excellence by managing inventory, shipping, receiving, returns and cycle‑counting in line with company standards.
• Monitor sales performance, controllable expenses and other financial metrics to drive profitability.

Required profile

• 2–4 years of experience in a similar role within a comparable‑volume retail environment or equivalent internal experience.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence partners at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to attract, develop and lead store leaders who can train staff and deliver outstanding client service.

Required skills

• Proficiency with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) for recruitment and hiring.
