Systems Administrator (Windows)

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Systems Administrator specialized in Windows environments to join our IT team. You will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, security, and performance of our middleware and cloud infrastructure while supporting development and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, and administer Windows middleware and server environments.
• Maintain and evolve processes that support development and operations teams.
• Monitor the stability of automated systems, scripts, and processes.
• Manage user accounts and permissions in large software environments.
• Diagnose issues, identify root causes, and apply patches or fixes.
• Document procedures, standards, development methods, and best practices.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for system optimization.
• Participate in the implementation of new technological solutions.
• Advise teams on best practices and technology directions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
• Minimum six years of experience in a similar Windows systems administration role.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps and CI/CD pipelines.
• Advanced expertise with IIS (Internet Information Services).
• Proficiency in PowerShell and automation tools.
• Familiarity with Azure cloud services.
• Experience working with GitHub.
• Understanding of ServiceNow features.
• Ability to work in an Agile environment and enforce security standards.
• Capacity to manage multiple projects and be available on call as needed.
