Systems Administrator – Senior Infrastructure Role

About the role

This senior Systems Administrator position supports and enhances critical technology platforms within a modern Infrastructure as Code (IaC) environment. Based in Canada, the role focuses on Windows Middleware environments and works closely with development, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable infrastructure services.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, administer, and evolve Windows Middleware environments using IaC principles.
• Monitor and maintain scripts, pipelines, and operational processes to ensure system stability and performance.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and routine maintenance across user and server environments.
• Support technology integration, deployment, and implementation initiatives.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation, procedures, standards, and best practices.
• Identify optimization opportunities and evaluate the impact of technology changes.
• Diagnose incidents, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with development, security, and operations teams to deliver reliable solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
• Minimum 6 years of experience in systems administration or infrastructure roles.
• Proven experience with Windows Middleware environments and IaC practices.
• Strong ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Excellent organizational skills and a customer‑focused mindset.
