Systems Administrator

About the role

Equans is seeking a Systems Administrator to join its IT team in Montreal. You will work in an international environment, providing Level 3 support for cloud and on‑premise infrastructures across North America.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Azure and Microsoft 365 Level 3 cloud support for all Equans North America entities.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 services, ensuring SLA compliance.
• Perform assembly, commissioning, maintenance, monitoring and security of server‑room equipment across multiple sites.
• Manage virtualization platforms including Azure, VMWare, Nutanix and Hyper‑V.
• Oversee daily backups and restores using VEEAM, guaranteeing data integrity.
• Ensure the security and integrity of Active Directory and line‑of‑business applications.
• Participate in IT projects, recommend technology improvements and support other IT teams.

Required profile

• Experience working in a team of Microsoft, Linux and Microsoft 365 administrators.
• Ability to operate in compliance with ISO standards and ITIL processes.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and proactive maintenance mindset.
