Systems Administrator II – Endpoint Management

About the role

Houle is seeking a Systems Administrator II (Endpoint Administrator) to join its IT team at the Burnaby head office. You will be responsible for keeping enterprise endpoints secure, optimized, and fully operational across desktop, mobile, and server environments.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full lifecycle of enterprise endpoints (servers, workstations, mobile devices) ensuring compliance with IT and data‑security standards.
• Administer endpoint operations, including device setup, user provisioning, and core system administration.
• Monitor systems, troubleshoot issues, and resolve incidents and service requests promptly.
• Provide Tier 2 support, mentor Tier 1 staff, and collaborate with Tier 3 on major projects.
• Support backup and recovery processes to maintain data integrity and system availability.
• Contribute to endpoint modernization, transition initiatives, and continuous process improvements.
• Build, maintain, and support tools and processes that enhance IT service delivery.
• Assist in evaluating business and technical requirements, including new software solutions.
• Document procedures, system changes, and best practices.

Required profile

• Post‑secondary education in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in endpoint administration, mobile device management, and security best practices.
• Strong understanding of Windows, iOS, and Android platforms.
• Professional IT designations or certifications are an asset.
