System Administrator – Windows Device Management & End‑User Support

About the role

Yellow Brick Games is looking for a System Administrator to lead Windows device management and provide end‑user support. You will ensure critical systems run smoothly, keep software up‑to‑date, and help users resolve technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Deploy software updates and system upgrades while meeting SLA requirements and minimizing user disruption.
• Install, configure, test, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot end‑user workstations and related hardware/software.
• Provide frontline response to IT Helpdesk tickets, calls, and emails.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, ensuring proper allocation, maintenance, and replacement cycles.
• Develop knowledge‑base articles to improve self‑service and technical processes.
• Conduct regular system audits for compliance with SLA, licensing, and regional regulations.

Required profile

• Fluent in French and English, both spoken and written.
• Minimum 2 + years of relevant experience in system administration or IT support.
• Willingness to participate in an on‑call rotation.
• Ability to lift and carry items up to 40 lb (18 kg) and use hand tools.
• Strong interest in staying current with emerging technologies and security threats.

Required skills

• Microsoft Azure, Entra ID, Exchange Online, Teams, Office 365, and Intune.
• Microsoft Intune administration.
• PowerShell and Batch scripting.
• Hands‑on hardware and software troubleshooting.
• Fundamental knowledge of security, networking, and containerization (Kubernetes, Docker).
• Experience with at least one cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Understanding of IT governance frameworks such as ITSG‑33, NIST CSF, and ISO 27001.
