System Administrator (Hybrid, 6‑month contract)

About the role

We are looking for a proactive System Administrator to join our IT team on a 6‑month contract with strong potential for extension. The role is hybrid, with 1‑2 days per week remote, and focuses on securing, scaling, and automating our core productivity and identity platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Administer Google Workspace, Okta, Slack, and AI tools such as Claude, managing access controls and user groups.
• Develop and maintain documentation for IT systems and act as an escalation point for complex issues.
• Ensure system changes comply with change‑management and security policies, performing audits and reporting.
• Stay current on emerging technologies and recommend innovative solutions, leveraging AI and automation to improve workflows.
• Maintain LAN/WAN and Wi‑Fi infrastructure, ensuring reliability, availability, and security while coordinating with ISPs.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 + years of hands‑on IT systems administration experience in a dynamic, SaaS‑based environment.
• Strong knowledge of cloud infrastructure (GCP), identity & access management (Okta, Google Workspace), and collaboration tools (Slack, Jira).
• Experience with device management solutions (Mosyle, Intune, Workspace ONE) and networking/security fundamentals.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot unfamiliar technical problems and manage multiple priorities.
