System Administrator (Corporate IT)

About the role

Air Apps is looking for a Systems Administrator to manage and secure its corporate IT infrastructure. Based in Lisbon, you will work onsite with cross‑functional teams to ensure reliable access to cloud services, SaaS tools and internal systems. The role combines day‑to‑day support with strategic automation and security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain corporate IT infrastructure, including SaaS applications, cloud services (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, Azure) and internal systems.
• Manage user provisioning, identity management and access control across platforms such as Okta, Azure AD and JumpCloud.
• Implement and monitor network security, endpoint protection, VPNs, firewalls and zero‑trust policies.
• Monitor hardware and software performance, troubleshoot incidents and ensure data encryption.
• Automate IT operations and workflows using scripting (Bash, PowerShell) and monitoring tools.
• Support and administer company‑wide SaaS tools (Slack, Zoom, Notion, Atlassian suite).
• Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, including account creation and deactivation.
• Maintain software licences, compliance documentation and provide technical training to employees.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in IT or systems administration.
• Hands‑on experience with cloud‑based environments (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS or Azure).
• Proficiency with identity and access management solutions (Okta, Azure AD, JumpCloud).
• Familiarity with endpoint management platforms (Jamf, Intune, Kandji or similar).
• Knowledge of network security concepts, VPNs, firewalls and zero‑trust models.
• Experience automating tasks with Bash or PowerShell scripting.
