Supply Chain Manager – Distribution Centre

About the role

We are launching a new distribution centre in Pitt Meadows, BC and need a hands‑on Supply Chain Manager to build and lead the Canadian supply‑chain function. Reporting to the General Manager, you will own inventory, purchasing, demand planning, transportation and regional logistics while providing senior oversight of the facility.

Key responsibilities

• Lead inventory planning and replenishment across the distribution network, develop seasonal and annual forecasts using sales history, demand trends and lead times.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels, monitor turnover, aging stock and service levels, and drive accuracy through cycle counts and root‑cause analysis.
• Manage purchasing for products, packaging and supplies, issue purchase orders, negotiate pricing, terms and freight with domestic and international suppliers.
• Coordinate inventory transfers between Nanaimo and Pitt Meadows and prepare regular reports for senior management.
• Oversee transportation and regional logistics, ensuring timely deliveries and addressing carrier issues.
• Support working‑capital management by balancing product availability with responsible inventory investment.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply‑chain or logistics management, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
• Strong analytical ability to interpret data, forecast demand and solve operational problems.
• Excellent negotiation and supplier‑relationship skills.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
