Supervisor – Motor Vehicle Mechanics

About the role

Impact Freight Services Inc is seeking a motivated Supervisor to lead its motor vehicle mechanics team in Edmonton. You will ensure efficient workshop operations, maintain high safety standards, and support continuous improvement of productivity and quality.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare production and other operational reports.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve productivity and product quality.
• Resolve work‑related problems and provide technical advice to staff.
• Supervise mechanics, projects, and daily workshop activities.
• Coordinate schedules, allocate resources, and align work with other units.
• Arrange or deliver training for team members.
• Estimate costs and material requirements for projects.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
• Requisition or order tools, equipment, and supplies.

Required profile

• Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of relevant experience in vehicle maintenance or a related field.
• Ability to supervise staff, manage schedules, and coordinate activities.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset and focus on continuous improvement.
