Student Services & Accommodation Coordinator

About the role

Bayswater Vancouver is seeking an experienced, student‑focused coordinator to manage homestay and accommodation services for its international students. The role supports students throughout their stay, handling placements, host family relations, and day‑to‑day student needs.

Key responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, screen, and onboard new homestay host families, ensuring they meet Bayswater standards.
• Conduct home visits and accommodation inspections to verify suitability and safety for students.
• Match students with appropriate host families based on preferences, requirements, and availability.
• Coordinate student arrivals, departures, transfers, extensions, and any changes to accommodation.
• Maintain regular communication with host families and students, addressing concerns, complaints, and emergencies promptly.
• Medi​ate and resolve conflicts between students and host families using a student‑focused approach.
• Provide friendly, professional support to students on accommodation, transportation, school services, and local resources, and assist with orientation and community activities.

Required profile

• Proven experience in homestay, student accommodation, or international education environments.
• Demonstrated ability to recruit, screen, and onboard host families and conduct placement matching.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict‑resolution skills with a culturally sensitive approach.
• Excellent organizational and administrative abilities, capable of managing multiple requests and maintaining accurate records.
