Student Internship – General Stream (Fall 2026)

About the role

Export Development Canada (EDC) is offering a four‑month, fall‑semester internship for students enrolled in post‑secondary programs. The General Stream provides exposure to a variety of business functions, including commerce, technology, analytics, finance, communications, marketing, project management, and human resources.

Key responsibilities

• Support team projects and daily operations within your assigned functional area.
• Conduct research, data analysis, and prepare reports to inform decision‑making.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify improvement opportunities.
• Assist in preparing presentations, communications, and other deliverables for internal and external stakeholders.

Required profile

• Currently enrolled in a post‑secondary program related to commerce, business, technology, analytics, finance, accounting, marketing, communications, project management, or human resources.
• Previous work‑term or co‑op experience in a related field.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Motivated self‑starter with good organizational and analytical abilities.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
