Strategic Procurement Specialist – Travel & Real Estate

About the role

Bureau Veritas is seeking a Strategic Procurement Specialist to lead sourcing initiatives for travel, real estate and related services. The role combines strategic planning with hands‑on execution, ensuring cost‑effective and reliable supply while supporting the company’s global operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement travel and real estate sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead end‑to‑end competitive bidding processes, including scope definition, supplier engagement, evaluation and award recommendation.
• Conduct market analysis, supplier benchmarking and risk assessments to inform sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate commercial terms, pricing structures and contracts, partnering with Legal to finalize agreements.
• Monitor supplier performance using KPIs such as cost, quality, delivery and responsiveness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing, preferably managing travel, real estate, fleet or lab consumables.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract management and sourcing best practices.
• Experience with ERP systems, specifically JD Edwards or similar platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (data analysis, pivot tables, cost modeling) and the Microsoft Office suite.
