About the role
The Strategic Account Manager will drive sustainable, profitable growth for PUMA across Generalist Lifestyle channels in Canada. You will balance brand priorities with consumer needs, identifying opportunities for footwear and apparel expansion while strengthening retailer relationships.
Key responsibilities
- Manage sales of PUMA footwear, apparel and accessories, ensuring alignment with brand goals.
- Analyze performance data to optimise product life‑cycles, inventory and sell‑through rates.
- Collaborate with internal teams (Marketing, Merchandising, Planning, Finance, etc.) to deliver seamless service.
- Prepare and deliver seasonal product presentations and negotiate with retailers.
- Oversee sample management for sell‑in and liquidation.
- Build strong assortments for brick‑and‑mortar and digital channels.
- Conduct formal sales reporting and use retailer metrics to generate actionable insights.
- Monitor competitor activity and market trends to maintain PUMA’s leadership.
- Maintain professional retailer relationships and coordinate showroom activities.
- Travel to key accounts at least monthly to capture market opportunities.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing, Sales or related field (preferred).
- 5+ years experience in footwear and/or apparel sales, retail buying, merchandising or planning.
- Fully bilingual in French and English.
