Storekeeper – Vancouver

About the role

The Storekeeper ensures that all merchandise, supplies and perishables are received, stored, and distributed efficiently across the hotel. You will maintain inventory accuracy, uphold food‑safety standards, and support daily operations of the food‑service areas.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, stage, and label merchandise by department.
• Stack items on pallets or carts and deliver them to the appropriate locations.
• Complete requisition forms for inventory and supplies.
• Monitor stock levels and notify supervisors of low inventory.
• Inspect deliveries for freshness, quality, and accuracy; reject damaged or incorrect items.
• Store perishables properly, rotate stock, and adhere to food‑safety policies.
• Organize, clean, and sanitize refrigerators, freezers, floors, equipment and drains.
• Remove empty pallets, cardboard and trash, placing them in designated areas.
• Report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions and complete required safety training.
• Maintain professional appearance, confidentiality of proprietary information, and positive guest interactions.

Required profile

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
• No prior related work experience required.
• No supervisory experience required.
• No specific license or certification required.

• Hourly wage ranging from $27.36 to $36.48 CAD.
• Pay increase to $31.92 after 6 months and $36.48 after 1 year (per CBA).
