Store Associate

About the role

The Store Associate supports Sherwin‑Williams retail operations by assisting wholesale and retail customers, answering product questions, and ensuring high levels of satisfaction while meeting sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service in person and over the phone, identifying needs and recommending products.
• Process sales transactions accurately and achieve monthly, quarterly and yearly sales goals.
• Maintain store appearance, stock shelves, set up displays and keep equipment clean.
• Tint and mix paint products to customer specifications and operate delivery trucks as needed.
• Handle inventory control, pull items from the floor or warehouse, and keep work order files precise.

Required profile

• At least 18 years of age and legally authorized to work in Canada.
• Valid, unrestricted driver’s licence and ability to lift 50 lb regularly (up to 70 lb occasionally).
• High school diploma or equivalent; one year of retail or customer‑service experience preferred.
• Previous experience with paint sales, tinting and mixing equipment is a plus.

Required skills

• Ability to operate tinting and mixing equipment.
• Capability to read, write and communicate in more than one language.
