Stock Associate - Part-Time & Seasonal (Ottawa East)

About the role

Linen Chest is hiring a Stock Associate for a part-time and seasonal position in Ottawa East. The role keeps the business running smoothly by making sure merchandise is received, stored and prepared efficiently for customers. You will work as part of a team in a clean, safe and organized stockroom.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare orders (picking) accurately
• Pack orders for shipping and customer pickups
• Receive, inspect and unpack merchandise
• Place and organize merchandise in the stockroom
• Take part in inventory counts and merchandise control
• Maintain a clean, safe and organized work environment
• Work with team members and perform other related duties as required

Required profile

• Able to perform physical work and safely lift and handle merchandise
• Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills
• Enjoys teamwork and contributes positively to the workplace
• Punctual, reliable and responsible
• Follows health and safety guidelines and company procedures
• Available to work days, evenings and weekends
