Station MEP Coordinator

About the role

ACCIONA is hiring a Station MEP Coordinator in Ontario to oversee the daily operations of the mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems of a station or guideway. The role coordinates MEP subcontractors, checks site compliance with design specifications and works closely with other project coordinators, contractors and stakeholders to deliver the project safely, functionally and sustainably.

Key responsibilities

• Review and execute mechanical (HVAC), electrical, plumbing and fire suppression systems, including calculations, equipment selection and layout planning
• Oversee MEP implementation during construction, ensuring compliance with design, quality and schedule requirements
• Review shop drawings, as-builts and redlines, and prepare permit and approval documentation
• Develop and monitor project schedules, supervise installation and commissioning, and conduct inspections and testing
• Identify and resolve issues during installation, and implement safety procedures
• Maintain project files, review project contracts and provide regular status reports

Required profile

• Valid Ontario driver's licence (G or G2); mobility is essential and travel to site jobs across Toronto is required
• Extended hours, including weekends and holidays, may be required
• Mechanical or electrical degree, or post-graduate certificate
• 3-5 years of experience as an MEP field engineer or MEP coordinator, preferably in project engineering or heavy civil construction
• Previous experience in transit-related projects is an asset

Required skills

• Strong computer skills, including MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Excellent written and oral communication, adaptability to field and office environments

What we offer

• Annual base salary of $90,000-$110,000 CAD, depending on experience and qualifications
