Station Assistant Superintendent

About the role

The Station Assistant Superintendent supports on‑site construction management for large infrastructure projects. Working closely with the superintendent, contractors and subcontractors, this role ensures daily activities align with project schedules, specifications and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising civil, structural steel, concrete, architectural, mechanical, electrical and plumbing works.
• Coordinate daily operations and communicate with the superintendent, contractors and subcontractors.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with project specifications, industry standards and safety regulations.
• Supervise foremen and crews, track production and daily progress.
• Confirm manpower and equipment needs, proposing efficiency improvements.
• Oversee subcontractor performance to ensure schedule adherence.
• Maintain positive relations with owners, subcontractors and the prime contractor.
• Prepare accurate daily reports, inspection records and safety documentation.
• Support the superintendent in production reviews, planning and contract compliance.

Required profile

• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Experience supervising construction crews and managing site resources.
• Attention to detail for inspections, record‑keeping and safety compliance.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders on a construction site.
