Station Assistant Superintendent

About the role

The Station Assistant Superintendent supports the on‑site management of large‑scale infrastructure projects, ensuring work is performed safely, on schedule, and to the required quality standards. This position works closely with the Superintendent, contractors, and subcontractors to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in supervising civil, foundations, structural steel, concrete, architectural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing works.
• Coordinate daily activities with the Superintendent, contractors, and subcontractors to meet project schedules.
• Conduct regular inspections to verify compliance with specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate daily reports, inspection records, and safety documentation.
• Support Foremen and crews, track production, and monitor manpower and equipment resources.
• Help oversee subcontractor performance and ensure work aligns with contract requirements.
• Foster positive relationships with owners, prime contractors, and subcontractors on the jobsite.

Required profile

• Experience in supervising on‑site construction activities across multiple trades.
• Strong understanding of local authority standards and safety regulations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse teams and resolve on‑site issues.
• Organised approach to record‑keeping and reporting.
