Staff Mobile Engineer

About the role

This high‑impact technical leadership position is focused on shaping and scaling mobile applications that power connected consumer devices used by millions. Based in Canada, you will work across iOS and Android platforms, driving end‑to‑end feature development while improving reliability, performance, and user experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead design, development, and delivery of mobile features for iOS and Android, ensuring high performance and scalability.
• Own architectural decisions and contribute to cross‑platform system design.
• Debug and resolve complex production issues across mobile, backend, and device integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, Design, QA, and backend teams to define requirements and deliver user‑centric features.
• Mentor engineers through code reviews, technical guidance, and best practices.
• Champion AI‑assisted development workflows and establish engineering standards.

Required profile

• 6+ years of professional mobile engineering experience building production‑grade applications.
• Proven track record leading technical initiatives and making architectural decisions at scale.
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ownership and pragmatic decision‑making.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional environments.
• Enthusiasm for AI tools and modern development workflows.
