About the role
Gracie Barra Toronto East is seeking a dynamic Sports Program Director to lead the development and delivery of its martial‑arts and fitness programs in North York. You will be responsible for shaping the strategic direction of our sport and recreation services while ensuring high‑quality experiences for members.
Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement and continuously improve sports programs and services.
- Provide technical and professional advice to staff and participants.
- Create policies and procedures that support program delivery.
- Organise and administer provincial and national training, coaching and officiating initiatives.
- Oversee daily operations of the sport/recreational centre.
- Demonstrate and instruct athletic, fitness and sports techniques.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Minimum 5 years experience in sports program management or a related field.
- Valid driver’s licence.
- Client‑focused, organised, reliable, team‑player and proven leadership abilities.
Required skills
- Martial‑arts instruction certification.
