About the role

We are looking for a Process and Mechanical Reliability Specialist to join our quartz sand screening plant. This hybrid position combines technical engineering, process optimisation and health‑and‑safety leadership to ensure reliable, efficient operations.

Key responsibilities

• EHS Leadership & Safety by Design – collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and act as the primary contact for senior management and external partners on safety and environmental initiatives.
• Design & Documentation – create, modify and maintain technical drawings using CAD software, ensuring all equipment manuals and process documents are up‑to‑date.
• Process Optimization – record and analyse production data daily, propose improvements, upgrades or equipment replacements.
• Maintenance Support – troubleshoot complex mechanical and process issues and help develop preventive‑maintenance programmes.
• Operational Reliability – monitor sand‑screening systems, identify reliability opportunities and maximise equipment uptime.
• Field Presence – conduct site inspections to verify that systems operate within design parameters.
• Continuous Improvement – stay informed on new mechanical and mining technologies and implement best practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (or college diploma) in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, Metallurgy or a related field.
• At least 5 years of hands‑on experience in an industrial, manufacturing or mining environment.
• Strong passion for occupational health and safety.
• Analytical mindset with excellent problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively.
• Intermediate bilingualism in French and English.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks).
• Microsoft Office suite.
• Google Workspace (Gmail, Google Sheets, etc.).
