About the role
The City of Woodstock is seeking a motivated Special Events Coordinator to support the Manager of Special Events in delivering high‑quality community events. This full‑time position works within the Parks & Recreation department and offers a competitive salary and benefits package.
Key responsibilities
- Assist the Manager of Special Events in planning, organizing and implementing all special events hosted by the City.
- Coordinate event logistics, including venue preparation, scheduling, and on‑site execution.
- Facilitate vendor relationships and ensure contractual obligations are met.
- Maintain event documentation, budgets, and post‑event reports.
Required profile
- Mid‑level experience in event coordination or a related field.
- Strong organizational and communication abilities.
- Ability to work Monday‑Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
- Eligibility to start in June 2026.
