Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs – Atlantic

About the role

As the Senior Manager, Corporate Affairs – Atlantic, you will provide a broad range of support across the Atlantic region in government relations, public affairs and communications, advancing the organization’s interests in Atlantic Canada and protecting its corporate reputation.

Key responsibilities

• Lead government relations across the four Atlantic provinces, focusing on regulatory issues and aligning with business goals.
• Build and maintain relationships with government officials and regulatory bodies to advance the company’s interests.
• Monitor regulatory developments and provide strategic advice to senior leadership.
• Contribute to strategic planning for communications and issues management, adapting national strategies to regional needs.
• Support execution of regional commercial communications programs and campaigns that strengthen brand profile.
• Coordinate external communications, media plans, and issue‑management efforts to protect corporate reputation.

Required profile

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in political science, communications or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• At least 10 years of experience in corporate affairs, communications or government relations, with a proven track record of managing complex projects.
• Senior‑level experience working with federal or provincial government.
• Strong understanding of media relations and crisis management.
• Excellent strategic thinking, writing and communication abilities.

What we offer

• Salary range $120,000 – $142,500 CAD per year, based on experience.
• Target bonus up to $42,000 CAD and eligibility for discretionary long‑term incentive awards.
