Solution Architect III – Platform & Telecommunications (French)

About the role

As a Solution Architect III you will join Google Cloud’s Platform team to help customers in Canada modernize their telecommunications and cloud workloads. You will act as the primary technical advisor, partnering with sales to showcase Google Cloud’s capabilities and drive successful cloud transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with technical sales teams to differentiate Google Cloud solutions for enterprise customers.
• Engage with technical and business leaders to understand challenges and design cross‑pillar cloud architectures.
• Lead proofs of concept, demos, and workshops that illustrate solution value.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, remove roadblocks, and ensure a smooth path to a technical win.
• Define delivery and consumption plans and transition them to execution teams.
• Travel up to 25% of the time to meet customers across Montreal and Toronto.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Minimum 10 years of experience designing cloud‑native architectures in customer‑facing or support roles.
• Fluent French communication skills to support regional clients.
• Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Required skills

• Google Cloud Platform (GCP) architecture and services.
• Cloud native architecture, cloud engineering, on‑premise engineering, virtualization, and containerization.
• Programming languages, debugging, systems design, prototyping, and demo creation.
• Security concepts such as encryption, identity management, access control, and penetration testing.
• Experience with infrastructure modernization, application modernization, data management, data analytics, cloud AI, networking, migrations, and security solutions.
