Solids Control Field Leader (Canada Remote)

About the role

Stage 3 Separation is seeking a Solids Control Field Leader to oversee on‑site solids control operations across remote Canadian locations. You will act as the technical expert, ensuring safety, efficiency, and equipment reliability while mentoring a team of technicians.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop a crew of up to 10 Solids Control Technicians, providing hands‑on supervision, training, and performance feedback.
• Manage daily field operations on 12‑hour shifts, including night and swing rotations, to maintain productivity and equipment uptime.
• Coordinate with fellow Field Leaders, Area Manager, and contractors to deliver seamless service and meet HSE standards.
• Oversee rig‑up and rig‑out procedures for shaker tanks, centrifuges, drying equipment, and pumps.
• Travel domestically to remote job sites, working on a rotational schedule (e.g., 14 days on/7 days off).

Required profile

• Proven technical expertise in solids control equipment and mud‑system management.
• Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with a focus on safety and operational excellence.
• Willingness to work 12‑hour shifts, overtime, and remote field locations.
• Basic understanding of electrical principles for troubleshooting.
