Software Engineer – Python (Up to 200k CAD + Bonus)

About the role
We are seeking a talented Software Engineer to join an elite FinTech firm in Montreal. The role is hybrid and focuses on building high‑performance, full‑stack applications using Python.
Key responsibilities
- Create fast, responsive front‑end experiences for complex web applications.
- Develop and maintain server‑side services that process massive data streams in real time.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate requirements into production‑ready features.
- Write clear, efficient code that supports long‑term system stability and growth.
Required profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a closely related field.
- Proven experience delivering production‑grade full‑stack applications within the Python ecosystem.
- React experience is a plus.
- Interest or exposure to trading or FinTech environments (not mandatory).
- Strong curiosity for new technologies and excellent communication skills.
