About the role
We are looking for a Software Engineer to join our team in Montreal on a 12‑month contract. The position is hybrid, requiring three days per week on‑site, and focuses on delivering software solutions for the Banking, Financial Services and Insurance (BFSI) sector. The role offers a competitive pay rate of CAD 55‑58 per hour and involves working closely with cross‑functional teams to build robust, scalable applications.
Key responsibilities
- Develop and maintain applications using Core Java and Apache Spark.
- Write Python scripts and SQL queries to process and analyze data.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot Linux/Unix environments.
- Design, implement, and consume REST APIs and microservices.
Required profile
- Strong expertise in the listed technical areas.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid setting and collaborate with stakeholders in the financial services domain.
