Software Development Intern – R&D

About the role
Join Affinity Decision Support (ADS) as an R&D Software Development Intern. This part‑time position offers a hands‑on experience in the full software development lifecycle while supporting healthcare decision‑support products.
Key responsibilities
- Participate in design, development, and testing activities for ongoing projects.
- Complete development tasks aligned with your skill level.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver quality software.
- Document development work to support quality assurance processes.
Required profile
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Demonstrated interest in research, innovation, and software development.
- Familiarity with software development tools and methodologies.
- Self‑motivated, coachable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Required skills
What we offer
- Part‑time schedule (approximately 20 hours per week) during the Spring/Summer 2026 semester.
- Compensation at $20 CAD per hour.
