About the role

KAPITALCOMPANY is a fast‑scaling FinTech and SaaS innovator looking for a Software Developer to join its remote‑first engineering team in Canada. You will help build intelligent, cloud‑native platforms that enable global clients to manage financial operations, automate workflows and scale securely.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and deploy scalable web applications using modern full‑stack frameworks, from API architecture to UI components.
• Write clean, testable, production‑grade code in JavaScript/TypeScript, Python or Go with a focus on performance, security and maintainability.
• Collaborate with product, QA and DevOps teams to ship features end‑to‑end using CI/CD pipelines and agile workflows.
• Optimize database queries and design efficient data models for high‑throughput transactional systems.
• Integrate third‑party APIs (payment gateways, identity providers, analytics tools) while ensuring uptime, rate limiting and error resilience.
• Participate in code reviews, architectural discussions and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Proven experience building full‑stack web applications in a fast‑moving environment.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and a commitment to writing high‑quality, maintainable code.
• Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote, async‑friendly culture.
