About the role

Radar Plumbing and Heating Services Ltd. is looking for a qualified plumber to join its team in Surrey, BC. The role involves working on both commercial and residential projects across various locations. You will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems while ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings and specifications to determine layout of plumbing, water supply, and drainage systems.
• Cut openings in walls and floors and join pipes using couplings, clamps, screws, bolts, cement, soldering, brazing, or welding equipment.
• Test pipes for leaks with air and water pressure gauges.
• Determine piping system requirements, perform pipe sizing, and supervise 1‑2 workers.
• Estimate material costs and measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes to required shapes.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1 to less than 2 years of plumbing experience in commercial and residential settings.
• Physically able to bend, crouch, kneel, and handle heavy loads.

Required skills

• Reading and interpreting blueprints and specifications.
• Pipe joining techniques (soldering, brazing, welding, cement).
• Leak testing using pressure gauges.
• Pipe sizing and system design.
• Measuring, cutting, threading, and bending pipes.
