Site Supervisor – Construction Projects

About the role

Pine Glen is seeking an experienced Site Supervisor to lead on‑site construction activities for residential custom homes, additions, and renovations in Oakville. The role involves overseeing the full project lifecycle, ensuring quality, safety, and budget compliance while maintaining strong client and stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day on‑site construction activities across one or more active projects.
• Coordinate trade schedules, create recovery plans, and enforce scope, quality, and safety standards.
• Lead project meetings, act as the primary contact for trades, consultants, and clients.
• Negotiate and issue purchase and change orders, approve invoices, and conduct regular financial reviews with co‑owners.
• Resolve client or trade disputes professionally and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Oversee site inventory, equipment, materials, and maintain a clean, safe, organized work environment.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of construction supervision experience in residential or commercial projects.
• Strong hands‑on leadership with a solution‑oriented approach.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to mentor junior staff.

Required skills

• Proficiency with BuilderTrend construction management software.
• Advanced Excel skills for project scheduling and reporting.
• Competent use of Microsoft Office suite.
