Site Superintendent – Residential Construction

About the role

Akash Homes is seeking a Site Superintendent to lead residential construction projects in Calgary, Alberta. You will oversee each home from excavation through possession, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and the high‑quality standards the company is known for.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the full residential construction process from excavation to possession.
• Coordinate trades, inspections, and suppliers to keep projects on schedule.
• Ensure worksites comply with the Alberta Building Code and Occupational Health & Safety (OH&S) requirements.
• Conduct site walkthroughs, address deficiencies proactively, and complete homeowner walkthroughs.
• Oversee seasonal or post‑possession repairs.
• Collaborate with Drafting, Estimating, Sales, and Customer Experience teams for smooth delivery.
• Maintain organized, safe, and professional construction sites across all assigned builds.

Required profile

• Experience supervising residential construction sites.
• Strong understanding of the Alberta Building Code and homebuilding practices.
• Ability to manage multiple construction projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building skills with trades, inspectors, and internal teams.
• Problem‑solving mindset with the ability to resolve issues quickly.
