Site Superintendent – Commercial & Light Industrial Projects

About the role

Camdon Construction is looking for an experienced Site Superintendent to lead commercial and light‑industrial projects from start to finish. You will work closely with the Project Manager to ensure safety, quality, schedule, and budget targets are met while coordinating daily site activities.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily construction activities, ensuring work is performed safely and according to specifications.
• Conduct regular site inspections, safety meetings, and resolve constructability, timing, or budget issues.
• Maintain continuous communication with the Project Manager to track budgets, schedules, and specifications.
• Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and clients to keep workflow smooth.
• Oversee quality control, third‑party testing, and ensure construction standards are met or exceeded.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to guide execution.
• Facilitate change orders and project modifications with management.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to field staff as needed.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of supervisory experience in commercial or light‑industrial construction.
• Strong leadership, communication, and safety advocacy.
• Ability to track schedules, budgets, and documentation accurately.
• Willingness to travel and work on out‑of‑town projects for extended periods.
