Site Reliability Engineer (SRE)

About the role

We are looking for a Site Reliability Engineer to join TMC’s global technology team. You will work closely with engineering and development groups to ensure the reliability, performance, and scalability of our platforms across hardware, software, applications, and networks.

Key responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and resolve incidents across the full technology stack.
• Collaborate with development teams to design, build, and maintain reliable systems.
• Identify automation opportunities and develop scripts or tools for deployment, management, and visibility.
• Proactively assess and mitigate reliability risks.
• Participate in a follow‑the‑sun support model, including weekend on‑call rotations.
• Represent the RPE organization in design reviews and operational readiness exercises for new services.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and problem‑solving abilities with a clear communication style.
• Demonstrated experience troubleshooting complex technical issues.
• Professional ownership of incidents and ability to explain technical problems to non‑technical audiences.

Required skills

• Linux system administration.
• Scripting languages: Python, Perl, Bash, Ruby.
• Automation tools such as Ansible and version control (GitHub).
• Monitoring and observability platforms: AppDynamics, Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace.
• Understanding of modern architectures: load balancing, databases, queuing, caching, distributed systems, micro‑services, cloud environments.
