Site Labourer – Entry Level

About the role

Amrize is seeking a reliable Site Labourer to support daily operations at its crushing plant. This entry‑level position offers hands‑on training in the aggregate industry and a pathway to more technical roles.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general manual labour such as shovelling spillage and keeping walkways clear.
• Clean and detail company vehicles and equipment cabs.
• Maintain shop, break areas and site perimeter (weed eating, brush clearing).
• Operate small equipment – skid steers and mini‑excavators – to move debris and perform light earthworks.
• Assist the maintenance team with setup tasks (dragging hoses, arranging tools, setting up lights).
• Conduct periodic safety equipment inspections.
• Organise the parts room, manage inventory counts and run parts errands.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s licence.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lb and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
• Willingness to work outdoors in all weather conditions and perform “dirty work”.
• Commitment to follow all safety protocols and wear approved PPE.
