Siding Installer

About the role

Anand Siding Ltd. is seeking a reliable Siding Installer to join its construction team in Surrey, BC. The role involves installing and servicing both exterior and interior prefabricated siding products on residential and commercial projects.

Key responsibilities

• Install exterior and interior prefabricated siding products according to blueprints and specifications.
• Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications to determine layout and installation procedures.
• Measure, mark, and prepare work areas, ensuring accurate placement of materials.
• Repair and service installed siding components as needed.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms safely.
• Maintain and organize tools, materials, and supplies on the job site.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation (high school diploma).
• 1 to less than 2 years of experience in siding installation or a related construction trade.
• Ability to work at heights and in noisy, dusty environments.
• Physically demanding work: standing for long periods, bending, crouching, and kneeling.

Required skills

• Proficient use of hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Experience erecting scaffolding and other temporary work platforms.
