Shop and Fleet Supervisor – Medical Transport

About the role

Transdev Canada is seeking a full‑time Shop and Fleet Supervisor for its Aaron Paramedical division in Calgary. The role ensures the readiness and efficient operation of vehicles, equipment, and supplies supporting patient transport and special events.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee all fleet vehicles, medical equipment, supplies and shop inventory to maintain operational readiness.
• Assist with project and event coordination, including preparing job forms and assigning personnel, equipment and vehicles.
• Monitor stock levels, place orders with approved suppliers and ensure timely restocking.
• Conduct detailed inspections of vehicles, supplies and inventory; manage cleaning, washing and refuelling.
• Support last‑minute transfers, wheelchair trips and event‑related needs during weekdays and weekends.
• Visit client sites and special events, meet with representatives and conduct field audits.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections, inventory, fleet condition and operational activities.
• Promote health and safety standards and collaborate with the Operations Manager and Dispatch team on urgent issues.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by management.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in a fast‑paced medical transportation or event‑support environment.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends, to meet operational demands.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail for inventory and vehicle readiness.
• Commitment to health and safety procedures and company service standards.
