Shipping & Receiving Associate

About the role

Receive and ship items effectively and efficiently. Verify and keep records of incoming and outgoing shipments. Prepare items for shipment.

Key responsibilities

• Determine method of shipment using knowledge of procedures and rates.
• Create daily shipping reports, picking slips and file paperwork.
• Receive, unpack, examine incoming shipments, reject damaged items and record shortages.
• Utilize RF scanners for accurate order picking and put‑aways.
• Maintain accurate daily log of moves and inventory, counting precisely.
• Load and unload trucks promptly and arrange transportation.
• Engage with vendors and drivers positively and communicate with purchasing/sales to resolve issues.
• Participate in regular inventory counts and keep the warehouse clean.

Required profile

• High attention to detail.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and Excel.
