Shipping Coordinator

About the role

Alfa Laval is seeking a Shipping Coordinator to manage daily shipping and receiving operations while maintaining accurate inventory records. You will play a key part in supporting the company’s logistics network and contribute to the ongoing D365 implementation.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory records in the ERP system (Movex).
• Coordinate loading and unloading of goods, verify quantities and package conditions.
• Arrange transportation and packaging, collaborating with carriers and internal teams.
• Execute, track, and coordinate domestic and international shipments.
• Collaborate with Customer Service and Service Centre teams to ensure timely order fulfillment.

Required profile

• Valid forklift license and crane certification.
• At least 2 years of shipping & receiving experience.
• Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, and reconciliation.
• High energy, self‑initiative, and strong sense of urgency.

Required skills

• Knowledge of M3/Movex or another AS400 platform.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with D365 (asset).
• Ability to lift 40 lb and work in varying temperature conditions.

What we offer

• Salary range $55,000–$65,000 CAD per year, based on experience.
