Shipper/Receiver – Food Processing

About the role

Queens Pasta is seeking a reliable Shipper/Receiver to join its food-processing team in Etobicoke. You will play a key part in ensuring that raw materials and finished products move efficiently through the warehouse.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble containers and crates to prepare shipments and receive deliveries.
• Inspect and verify incoming goods against invoices and documentation, reporting any discrepancies.
• Maintain an internal record-keeping system to track inventory movements.
• Route goods to the appropriate storage areas based on product type and temperature requirements.
• Pack goods securely for shipping, ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Oversee loading and unloading of trucks, coordinating with forklift operators and ensuring safety protocols.

Required profile

• No prior experience required; comprehensive on-the-job training will be provided.
• Accurate, dependable, organized and able to work effectively as part of a team.
• Physical ability to handle loads up to 23 kg, bend, crouch and work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure while meeting tight deadlines.
