Truck Driver – Full-time Permanent Position

About the role
We are looking for a reliable truck driver to join our team in Etobicoke on a full‑time permanent basis. You will operate as part of a two‑person team or convoy, delivering goods while ensuring safety and efficiency.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and adjust routes using GPS and computer equipment to minimise fuel consumption and emissions.
- Load, unload, tarp, and secure cargo, recording all relevant information.
- Inspect vehicle components such as tires, lights, brakes, and cold‑storage units before, during and after trips.
- Perform brake adjustments, emergency roadside repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Communicate with central dispatch, reporting hours of service, distance travelled and fuel usage.
Required profile
- Secondary school graduation certificate.
- Experience in truck driving is an asset.
