About the role
The Shift Manager leads the daily operations of a fast‑food restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high quality standards. You will supervise staff, manage inventory, and address customer concerns in a fast‑paced environment.
Key responsibilities
- Establish and maintain work schedules for 5‑10 team members.
- Supervise and coordinate activities of staff who prepare and portion food.
- Train employees on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures.
- Estimate ingredient and supply needs and maintain stock records.
- Hire, coach, and evaluate food‑service staff.
- Ensure food quality, service standards, and handle customer complaints.
Required profile
- Client‑focused with excellent oral communication.
- Efficient interpersonal skills and flexibility.
- Ability to work under pressure in a noisy, hot environment.
- Team player who can stand for extended periods.
