Shift Manager – Fast Food Restaurant

About the role

The Shift Manager leads daily operations in a fast‑food restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high quality standards. You will coordinate staff, manage inventory, and address customer concerns in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Establish methods and schedules to meet work demands.
• Supervise and coordinate activities of 3‑4 staff members who prepare and portion food.
• Train employees on job duties, sanitation and safety procedures.
• Estimate ingredient and supply needs for meal preparation.
• Hire food‑service staff and oversee their performance.
• Maintain quality control standards for food and service.
• Address customer complaints or concerns promptly.
• Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales and waste.
• Prepare and submit operational reports and food order summaries for the chef.
• Supervise tray assembly and ensure work schedules are adhered to.

Required profile

• Secondary school graduation certificate.
• 1–2 years of experience in fast‑food or restaurant operations.
• Efficient interpersonal and oral communication skills.
• Flexibility, ability to work under pressure and as a team player.
