Sessional Lecturer – Designing Effective Organizations

About the role

The Department of Management at the University of Toronto Mississauga seeks a qualified Sessional Lecturer to teach MGT363 Designing Effective Organizations during the Winter 2026 term (September 1 – December 31, 2026). The successful candidate will deliver high‑quality lectures, facilitate class discussions, and assess student performance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver weekly lectures and related instructional materials.
• Design and grade assignments, exams, and other assessments.
• Provide timely feedback and hold regular office hours for student support.
• Coordinate with teaching assistants (minimum 0.75 h per enrolled student) to ensure smooth course delivery.
• Maintain course records and adhere to university policies and collective‑agreement guidelines.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (e.g., PhD or Master’s) in Management, Organizational Studies, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• Eligibility to work under the CUPE 3902 Unit 3 collective agreement (not a current U of T student).
• Commitment to teaching excellence and inclusive education.
