Service Coordinator - Saskatoon

About the role

Manitoulin Transport, which has provided transportation and logistics solutions across North America for 65 years, is hiring two Service Coordinators in Saskatoon. Pay is based on experience and shift premiums apply. One position is on the afternoon shift (4 x 10s, Monday to Thursday, 14:30 to 01:00) and the other on the weekend day shift (3 x 12, Friday to Sunday, 06:00 to 18:30).

Key responsibilities

• Document repairs from multiple sources (EDVIR, walk-ups/triage, email, technician findings, operations and maintenance software) and prioritize work.
• Maintain the local facility planner spreadsheet outlining daily workflow.
• Prepare work orders in Enrich and assign tasks to technicians after repairs are approved by the shop supervisor or service manager.
• Ensure all tasks are completed in Enrich with proper comments for each job line.
• Open warranty claims for all warrantable parts and repairs.
• Work with the parts department to ensure parts are in stock or ordered before equipment arrives for PM service or repairs, and assist in sourcing parts.
• Make sure parts cores are returned for proper credit and close completed work orders after review.
• Coordinate with outsourced maintenance coordinators to schedule equipment and ensure it reaches the right shop.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years in service operations.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

• Knowledge of AS/400.
• Good organizational, communication and decision-making skills.
• Technical, mechanical and problem-solving skills.
• Focus on cost analysis and cost reduction, and on customer and driver satisfaction.
