Service Advisor – Automotive Repair

About the role

Fountain Tire’s Edmonton Heritage location is seeking a friendly and dedicated Service Advisor to manage service appointments, provide quotes, and ensure customer satisfaction in an automotive repair environment.

Key responsibilities

• Create work orders, arrange bookings and communicate details to technicians.
• Provide service quotes, obtain customer authorizations, finalize sales and conduct follow‑up.
• Make proactive calls to assess customer satisfaction after service.
• Recommend tire, wheel and mechanical services to customers.
• Accurately bill products and process information in the shop’s computer system.
• Maintain showroom promotional material and assist with inventory counts.
• Participate in safety initiatives and complete required e‑learning courses.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience in automotive repair or tire industry.
• Ability to work Saturdays.
• Effective listening skills to identify customer needs and provide recommendations.
• Valid driver’s licence with a satisfactory driver abstract.
• Strong customer‑service attitude and team‑player mindset.

Required skills

• Knowledge of passenger, light‑truck and specialty tires.
• Familiarity with mechanical service processes.
• Experience using automotive shop computer software for work orders and billing.
