Server/Bartender - Pizzeria Libretto

About the role

Pizzeria Libretto, part of Oliver & Bonacini, is hiring a Server/Bartender for its Toronto location. The role delivers food and beverage service with genuine hospitality and knowledgeable service, keeping the section and restaurant clean and organized. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Serve sections according to assignment and open/close the restaurant following opening and closing procedures
• Enter all orders accurately using the POS system and its tools, following the ordering policies set out by the Restaurant Manager or Floor Manager
• Guide guests through menu items and suggest wine and food pairings
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the section and the restaurant
• Attend product training and seminars, employee meetings, and perform other duties as requested by management

Required profile

• Smart Serve certification required
• Preferred 2-3 years of experience serving in a similar setting
• Ability to stand for long periods (up to 8 hours) and lift up to 40 lbs
• Proven ability to lead a team and strong customer service and communication skills
• Professional appearance and self-motivated, organized attitude

Required skills

• Working knowledge of the food, wine and cheese program
• Basic knowledge of wines, spirits and all alcoholic beverages
• POS system proficiency
